The Paralyzed Veterans of America, Bayou Gulf-States Chapter is a non-profit organization who thrust is to help and assist Paralyzed and Disabled Veterans who have sustained injuries to their bodies and have suffered from other life-diminishing diseases.
We are here to serve you in that capacity.

Mr. Zurfluh was elected at the 71st Annual PVA Convention in May 2017, and took office July 1, 2017. He served as National Senior Vice President since May 2015. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1987 to 1995.

Mr. Willie Harvey is very well known for his outstanding work as a Paralyzed Veteran of America Volunteer Liaison Officer at the Jackson VA Medical Center.
He is a strong Community Activist. and has served as Bayou Gulf States Vice-President for over Twenty years. Mr. Harvey is an exceptionally hard working Veteran known for treating both colleagues and clients with great respect and care. He has received numerous accomendations for his work with all Veterans
in the community. Mr. Harvey utilizes a multitude of resources, recommendations, and networking sources to bring meaningful change and activities helping to improve Veterans quality of life.
During his service as Vice-President, Mr. Harvey represented PVA Bayou-Gulf States Chapter with exceptional professionalism. His leadership and guidiance with young Veterans attending the National Wheelchair Games for the first time is always welcome and much appreciated. His work is inspirational and has benefited many Veterans from the Gulf States of Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama to the southern areas of Tennessee. He addresses his outreach efforts and community awareness initiatives on behalf of PVA, Bayou-Gulf States Chapter focused on all Veterans. He exhibits an outstanding display of professionalism as a Ambassador of Bayou-Gulf States Chapter, PVA. Mr. Willie Harvey Jr is currently serving as PVA National Director and Bayou Gulf States Chapter President.
Joe Romagnano served as PVA National President, Director and BGS Chapter President. He served the PVA for over thirty-six years. Willie Harvey, Jr. served BGS as Vice-President and Chapter President as well as PVA National Director. Thank you Mr. Romagnano and Mr. Harvey for building the Bayou Gulf States Chapter and giving it your heart and soul. Rest In Peace, Sirs.
