IN HONOR AND MEMORY OF
JOSEPH ROMAGNANO
WILLIE HARVEY, JR.
The Paralyzed Veterans of America is a congressionally chartered veterans service organization founded in 1946. For close to 80 years PVA has developed an expertise on a wide variety of issues involving the special needs of our members. Our members are veterans of the armed forces who have experienced a spinal cord injury or dysfunction.
PVA will use that expertise to be the leading advocate for:
Quality health care for our members;
Research and education addressing spinal cord injury and dysfunction;
Benefits available as a result of our members' military service;
Civil rights and opportunities which maximize the independence of our members.
To enable PVA to continue to honor this commitment, we must recruit and retain members who have the experience, energy, dedication, and passion necessary to manage the organization and ensure adequate resources to sustain the programs essential for PVA to achieve its mission.
The Bayou Gulf-States Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America is a non-profit organization. We do not ask for or receive any federal or state funding. All of our funds are received mainly through donations. All members of the Paralyzed Veterans of America have sustained a spinal cord injury, disease, dysfunction or multiple sclerosis. Any articles, information or news placed on this website will be cleared and authorized by the Bayou Gulf-State Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America. Serving my country the good
old USA. I received monetarily
very little pay. It's the pride of
being an American citizen that
served me well. As I fought in other countries that seemed like a living hell. Many soldiers stand straight and tall when it's time for roll call. Each one has left their family, home, or pet Many have been hurt in action. "I too, am a disabled vet."
